Oops!

I am such a slacker. It's been almost a week since my last post. I could tell you all that I've been getting ready for the A to Z Challenge, but I've decided to write each post every day. While this could be my ultimate downfall into a month of extreme stress and anxiety, I'm sticking with it!

Speaking of April, I don't have one empty week. This week is actually my last week of freedom from exams and projects. Next month is the last for the semester and everyone seems to pack everything in that they couldn't fit any other time. I feel as though I have a thousand things due at the same time. The one thing that I am looking forward to is the Challenge. I look at it as my little break from the stress of school, my study break. If I can set aside a couple hours each day to write a post and visit other blogs it would be the perfect break. Who knows, my theme may just help me study for whatever test I may have coming up. I hope everyone likes my topics!

I get my stitches out Thursday :) Although I have this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that it's still infected.

Stitches? I guess I missed why you got them. The last time I had stitches, I forgot to have them taken out as I was too busy.

Taking matters into my hands a week late, I grabbed a pair of tiny scissors and clipped a suture. No problem, this was easy!

Then came the ouchy part. I learned that there is a reason stitches come out in a week or so, and not 2 weeks or so.

With a thumb and forefinger, I pulled on a stitch and wowza, it felt as if I was dragging a butter knife through my subcutaneous skull.

Word to the wise: Make your appointment to have your stitches removed...on time.

klove829 - Thanks! We all know breathing is something I have trouble with this time of the year.

Jeremy - My stitches hurt just reading that :( How were you able to put yourself through that pain? I actually pulled out three of the five of mine yesterday because they were so irritating.
